Sir,
With reference to your letter of the 26th October and its inclosures, I am directed by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury to request that you will convey to the Earl of Carnarvon the concurrence of this Board in the letter by which his Lordship approves of the payment by the Crown Agents out of funds in their hands, of the sum of £4125 on account of interest & Sinking Fund on the loans to British Columbia; and also with the despatch which he proposes to address to the Governor on the subject.
