Sir,
In reply to your letter of the 7th instant I have to state, for the information of the Duke of Buckingham & Chandos that the publications presented by the Commissioners of Patents to Vancouver Island & British Columbia were forwarded in two packages per ship "Mercura" on the 10th May last and addressed respectively to the Officer Administering the Government Vancouver Island, and the Officer Administering the Government British Columbia.
