I am commanded by my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to send you herewith, for the information of the Duke of Newcastle, Copies of a Letter from Commander Prevost of Her Majesty's Steam Vl Virago, dated the 23rd July, No 42, and of its enclosures, relative to proceedings in Queen Charlotte Island, and his endeavours to obtain redress for the capture of the "Susan Sturges" American Schooner by the Masset Tribe of Indians.
