I have to acknowledge the receipt of your Despatch marked
"Confidential" of the 19th November 1857, pointing out the
usual and proper uses to which the Public Seal of the Colony
should be applied, and I have to assure you in reply, that the
usage in this Colony will be hereafter regulated by those
instructions.
