In obedience to the instructions contained in your Circular
Despatch of the 29th of January last, I have the honor to make
herewith the Return, filled up with the particulars of
information relating to the Maps and plans of Vancouver's
Island, as desired by Lord Panmuir [Panmure], and explained in
the accompanying letter from the War Office.
