provide for the Passage of an Act for the Preservation of Game.

I am directed by the Lord President of the Council to transmit to you
the enclosed Order of Her Majesty in Council of the 23rd inst for
leaving to its operation an Act passed in Vancouvers Island in April
1859 No 7 "to provide for the Passage of an Act for the Preservation
of Game," and I am to request that you will be pleased to lay the
same before the Secretary of State for the Colonial Department.
