I have the honor to enclose for the information of His Grace the Duke of Newcastle an account received from the Stationery Office, for Stationery supplied to the Government of Vancouver's Island, amounting to the Sum of £5.16.11; and as it appears that the Stationery in question was ordered by the Colonial Department, I beg to request that you will favor me with instructions as to the payment of the Amount.
