The Imperial Funds in the hands of this Government to liquidate expenses for Colonial Pay &c of Royal Marines at San Juan, being exhausted, I have the honor to acquaint your Grace that I have authorized the Colonial TreasurertoManuscript image to obtain the sum of Eleven Hundred pounds (£1100) by Bills upon Her Majesty's Paymaster General, and I trust your Grace will cause the necessary steps to be taken so that the Bills may be accepted upon presentation.

I shd send to Ty, pointing out that these drafts are for Royal Marines at San Juan, & that the S. of State presumes therefore that, under the decisions already adopted, the amount will be chargeable to the Admiralty. Draft.
