It seems therefore that the gross Revenue is greatly increasing—but that the Crown Revenue of the 2nd quarter of 1863 is little more than one fourth of the years revenue of 1862.

I have seen a private letter saying that since the [rect] of my statement in the H. of Ls the price of Land has risen more than 30 per cent.
