I deem it my duty to transmit through you for the information of the Crown Agents for the Colonies the copy of a communication addressed to the Surveyor General of this Colony in reference to the Ship "John Stephenson" on board of which goods were shipped by the Agents General for this Colony. It is only necessary for me toaddManuscript image add that the "John Stephenson" has not yet arrived here having left the Thames on the 16th January 1864.
